Pride Month is a time to celebrate the 2SLGBTQI+ community’s resilience, diversity, and existence in Canada. At Girl Guides, we support everyone in the 2SLGTBQI+ community. We believe that everyone deserves to be seen, valued and true to themselves without fear or hesitation, and recognize that not all 2SLGBTQI+ youth experience this same sense of belonging in their lives.
We remain committed to being a safe and welcoming space where all members, volunteers and staff can say ‘I belong here’.
You can celebrate Pride Month and discover ways to create safe and welcoming spaces, explore gender and identity, practice using inclusive language and celebrate what it means to be YOU with our Explore Identities activities.
