Girl Guides are going ‘wild’ for wildlife conservation

As part of the 2024-2026 National Service Project: Action for Wildlife, over 1,800 Girl Guide members of all ages across the country have been stepping up to take action to conserve Canada’s wildlife and its habitat through service-based activities.

By participating in the National Service Project, members are learning to get involved in their community, take action for causes they’re passionate about and discover the collective power to make positive change!

From shoreline restoration projects to creating pollinator watering stations, building birdhouses, and planting native species, Girl Guide members are actively engaged in making a real impact. Units have also connected with conservation experts, visited wildlife rescue centers, and led tree planting projects.

Thank you to the Canadian Wildlife Federation for their support and assistance in the development of the NSP: Action for Wildlife.
