The Girl Guides of Canada-Guides du Canada’s blog, GirlGuidesCANBlog, is a daily log of the Girl Guide Movement. This site is operated by GGC staff with guest contributions from GGC Members, volunteers and others. GirlGuidesCANBlog is a place to share ideas and information about Canadian Girl Guide programs, initiatives and activities as well as a place to highlight the great work done by our members. We hope our posts will inform, entertain and maybe even delight readers with insights and information ranging from girl empowerment and gender bias to self esteem and outdoor activities to community action and celebrating our members’ achievements. The content of each post and each comment represents the views of that author and does not necessarily reflect the views of GGC. Currently there are five categories to this blog: Guiding Greatness: Highlighting the great people, programs and activities in Guiding Global Guiding: Global impact of GGC; WAGGGS activities; international connections in Guiding Growing Guiding: Tools, tips and ideas to help grow Guiding including events and online initiatives Cookies Bits n’ Bites: The place for sharing Cookie campaign activities and ideas as well as your best cookie recipes Oh my Guides!: All the fun things in Guiding…
