Girl Guides of Canada believes that by raising awareness and advocating for gender equality, girls can truly change our world. That’s why we launched the 2011 National Service Project: EmPOWERing Girls – a project that recognizes the power that Canadian girls have to impact their communities, and to change the world around them.

Plan Canada and GGC believe that when a girl is educated, nourished and protected, she shares her knowledge and skills with her family and community, and can forever change the future of a nation. Girls are that powerful!
